Just found this one interesting.
From the description on Youtube:
A machine with a doll face mimics images on television screen in search of a satisfactory visage. Doll Face presents a visual account of desires misplaced and identities fractured by our technological extension into the future.
Very interesting, indeed. Didn’t have any sound on this particular computer, not sure if there was any or not, but I am guessing the message is pretend to be something you’re not…you end up broken in the end. Or something like that. Either way, cool video…thanks!
Chad
Yea, there is a little sound which adds to the feel but you can get the idea from the video itself. And yea that’s pretty much the idea I got from the video — more or less. Just kinda makes ya think for a minute or two. 🙂
nobody in life can be satisfied with what they have. maybe they should just be content with what u have now. but it’s pretty interesting with the usage of a robot doll. 😀
Yup, people are generally not satisfied. Think I’m guilty of that as well sometimes. 😉
Didn’t get that one. Her life in the beginning wasn’t worth preserving, anyway. I guess it speaks to the bleak existence of life – even with a little color in your cheeks? lol!
“the bleakness of life”. haha Amy! Well, I guess you can interpret any way you like!
